Candle Refill Program

Your candle jar’s second life starts here.

At Luna Harlow, we believe beautiful things should last. Our candle refill program allows you to reuse the jars you love while reducing waste and enjoying a freshly hand-poured candle.

Whether it’s a Luna Harlow jar, a store-bought candle container, or a jar you simply love, we can refill it with fresh coconut soy wax and your choice of fragrance.

How It Works

1. Choose Your Drop-Off Option
You can either arrange a time to drop off your jar locally or bring it to one of the markets I attend.

2. Clean Your Jar
Please ensure your jar is fully cleaned and free of old wax and wick tabs before drop-off. This helps make the refill process quicker and allows your candle to be prepared sooner.

3. Choose Your Scent
Let me know which fragrance you would like from our available scent range when arranging your refill.

4. Your Candle Is Refilled
Your jar will be refilled with hand-poured coconut soy wax and a new cotton wick, prepared with the same care as our candles.

5. Pick Up Your Candle
Once your candle is ready, you can collect it at a future market or arrange a local pick-up time.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Options

To make things easy, there are a couple of ways you can organise your refill.

Market Drop-Off & Pick-Up
If you visit one of the markets I attend, you’re welcome to bring your empty jars to my stall. I’ll take them with me and refill them, and you can collect them at a future market that I’m attending.

Local Drop-Off by Arrangement
You can also arrange a local drop-off and collection time by contacting me through the website or via social media.

Refill pricing is based on the size of your jar.

Small Jar
Up to 200g
Refill Price: $22

Medium Jar
200g – 350g
Refill Price: $30

Large Jar
350g – 500g
Refill Price: $38

Extra Large Jars
500g+
Price available on request depending on size.

All refills include:

✨ A new cotton wick

How to Clean Your Candle Jar

Cleaning your jar before drop-off helps make the refill process much faster.

  • Place the jar in the freezer for a few hours.
  • The remaining wax should pop out easily.
  • Remove the old wick tab.
  • Wash the jar with warm soapy water and allow it to dry.

Jar Suitability & Safety

For safety reasons, jars must be suitable for candle use and able to withstand heat.

While we’re happy to refill most containers, we may not be able to refill jars that are:

  • Cracked, chipped or damaged
  • Made from very thin glass
  • Not designed to withstand candle heat
  • Unusually shaped or difficult to wick safely

If we feel a jar may not be safe for candle use, we will let you know at drop-off.

Our priority is to ensure your candle burns safely and performs well.

A Small Note

Please include your name and contact details when dropping off your jar so we can easily match it with your refill. 

Customer Agreement

By using our candle refill service, you acknowledge that:

  • Containers provided must be suitable for candle use and able to withstand heat.
  • While we take care when refilling containers, Luna Harlow cannot guarantee the performance of customer-supplied jars.
  • Luna Harlow is not responsible for damage caused by faulty or unsuitable containers.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring the jar is clean and in good condition before drop-off.

If a container is considered unsafe or unsuitable for candle use, we reserve the right to decline the refill.
